Members of the Philadelphia firefighters union have ousted President Bill Gault and voted in Joseph D. Schulle, a battalion chief, as his replacement.
Mail-in ballots for Local 22 of the International Association of Fire Fighters were counted Wednesday, and Schulle won by a vote of 1,736-1,209, said Mike Bresnan, the union's recording secretary.
