Slots players send billion-dollar bouquet to Pa. horse industry

The horse racing industry in Pennsylvania is a big beneficiary of the state's slot machine players - to the tune of $225 million in 2012 and $1.5 billion in the past six years. Two local tracks - Parx in Bensalem, Bucks County, and Harrah's Philadelphia in Chester - have benefited from the largesse. (Photos by Colin Kerrigan and Stephanie Aaronson / Philly.com)
