A story Thursday incorrectly reported when Staff Sgt. Vincenzo Romeo, 23, of Lodi, N.J., was killed in Iraq. He died Sunday, according to the Army's public affairs office at Fort Monmouth, N.J.

An Associated Press story Thursday about the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration's investigation into the Sago Mine disaster incorrectly reported the number of lightning strikes that led to an explosion in the mine. The agency concluded that just one lightning strike most likely caused the fatal 2006 blast.
