A photograph of the actress Eve Best in yesterday's article about Tony Award nominations misidentified the actor next to her. He is Kevin Spacey.

A May 4 article on the Philadelphia mayoral primary incorrectly reported the name of the person who praised Democratic candidate Chaka Fattah on behalf of the Valiants, an organization representing African American firefighters. The words of praise were delivered by Joseph Sawyer.

In an article Tuesday, The Inquirer misidentified one of the professors honored during Monday's commencement at the University of Pennsylvania. Aaron Temkin Beck, emeritus professor and director of the Center for the Treatment and Prevention of Suicide, was honored during the ceremony at Franklin Field.
