In an article last Sunday on Act 1, the legislation designed to offer property-tax relief, a quote by John Rasiej should have said, "The current system already pits people against each other. A homeowner who has a relatively nice house might be paying 7.8 percent of their income in school taxes and have very little income to support that, while someone who has a million-dollar income is basically paying only a small percentage of that." Rasiej served on a tax advisory commission of the Council Rock School District.
