Attention Chester County shoppers: If you head to the King of Prussia mall next week, make sure you leave the area in time to avoid the southbound lane closures on Rt. 202. PennDot said one lane will be shut between the Chesterbrook and Route 401 interchanges from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. May 23-26. Backups are expected.

The closures are needed for the installation of underground drain pipes.  This work, which is weather-dependent, is part of PennDOT's $105.4 million project to add a third lane in each direction for four miles -- from just south of Rt. 252 in Tredyffrin Township to just north of Rt. 401 in East Whiteland Township.
