A 77-year-old man who was hospitalized after being stabbed in his abdomen told cops he was stopped at a red light on Frankford and Torresdale when a man pulled him from a white Lincoln Town Car limousine and attacked him around 6:20 p.m.
A man wearing a black mask over his face allegedly pulled the victim out of the limousine and the two argued briefly beore the suspect stabbed the elderly man in his abdomen, police said.
The victim got back in the limousine and drove himself to Aria-Frankford Hospital, police said.
The man was listed in stable condition as of 7:45 p.m. and would likely be transferred to Aria-Torresdale Hospital, said Officer Jillian Russell, a police spokeswoman.
A solid description of the suspect was not immediately available, no arrests were made.
