Shawn Andrews strolled through the Eagles' locker room Friday, his red "fro-hawk" still as bright and peppy as when he returned from California Thanksgiving week.
"Better," Andrews said, when asked how his surgically repaired back is feeling. He has not played since leaving the game against the Cowboys in Week 2. Andrews still seems a longshot to return to the field this season, though he has not been placed on injured reserve.
Asked if he had a timeframe for returning to practice, the two-time Pro Bowl guard said "I don't know."
Andrews, who recently divulged that he has become a pescatarian, certainly is not bulking up while recovering. He said Friday he currently weighs 320. In fact, Andrews might be getting a little too thin.
