To our surprise, Miley Cyrus was not the most searched person this year.

According to analytics collected by search engine Bing, Beyoncé Knowles was the most search person of 2013. Queen Bey stole the crown away from Kim Kardashian, who sat at the top in 2012 and came in at second place this year. Celebrities dominated the top search list except for President Barack Obama, who came in at number ten.

Beyoncé managed to grab the number one slot despite not having a new album to promote. She did, however, embark on one of her biggest tours to date and performed with her Destiny's Child sisters at this year's Super Bowl.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" was the most searched song, with Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" trailing not far behind at number two. Iron Man 3 and Fast and Furious 6 were the most searched movie titles.
