Free chicken Wednesday as Big Q BBQ expands to Pineville Tavern

July 6 is National Fried Chicken Day.
It's also the debut of a barbecue takeout/catering location set up inside Pineville Tavern in central Bucks County, an offshoot of Drew and Andrew Abruzzese's Big Q BBQ drive-thru in Levittown.
The Abruzzeses will give away their Fried Chicken Lunchboxes at both the Levittown and Pineville locations. Anyone who stops by between noon and 2 p.m. will receive a three-piece lunchbox (drumstick, wing and thigh).
Big Q BBQ Takeout & Catering at the Pineville Tavern (1089 Durham Rd., aka Route 413) offers everything on the menu at the Levittown Q (1140 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, at Woodbourne Road). That includes ribs, brisket, pulled pork, smoked and fried chicken, biscuits, and sides.
The takeout counter at the Pineville Tavern will be open 4 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
