Man, 19, shot 3 times in S. Phila.

Inquirer staff writer Robert Moran reports:

A 19-year-old man was shot three times in an assault last night in South Philadelphia, police said this morning.

The man, whose name was not released, was walking in the 1800 block of Dudley Street at 7:35 p.m. when he was shot by an unknown assailant, police said.

He suffered a lacerated liver, a broken femur and a gunshot wound to the pelvis. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was listed in stable condition.

Police reported no arrest.
