Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is working with the Eagles' strength and conditioning staff today and is not practicing with the team. He has a tightened hamstring, according to the team.

His absence from drills Tuesday comes as fellow receiver DeSean Jackson has decided to skip the voluntary practices.

Maclin is working with the strength coaches along with several Eagles nursing injuries: linebacker Stewart Bradley (calf), running back LeSean McCoy (ankle), guard Todd Herremans (foot), center Jamaal Jackson (knee), tackle Fenuki Tupou (pectoral muscle) and defensive end Victor Abiamiri (knee).

The others have been sitting out the voluntary practices since last week or earlier.

As expected, cornerback Asante Samuel is also absent from today's practice.

The Eagles also signed undrafted free agent linebacker Simoni Lawrence.

Lawrence, an Upper Darby High School graduate, was cut by the Rams on May 25 and worked out with the Eagles last week. He played at the University of Minnesota after spending two years at Valley Forge Military Academy.
