PA senators prepare cuts to corporate tax loopholes

Pennsylvania State Senate Democratic Leader Robert J. Mellow of Scranton, top Appropriations Democrat Jay Costa from Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia's own Senator Christine M. Tartaglione will unveil a "modern, fair and competitive" business tax plan in the State Capitol Wednesday at 10 a.m. See 'em live at www.pasenate.com (not .gov)

They won't say what's in the plan, but we won't be surprised if it's a Pennsylvania version of the corporate state-tax-shelter loophole limits adopted successfully by Maryland, New Jersey and North Carolina a few years back.
