The kids were all excited to share that every week many of them have been going home and making the recipes for their family, Viviene even described that these recipes are great because her and her mom have been trying to eat healthy, also many described cooking as a way to relax after a long day of elementary school. None of the students have had stuffed peppers before making them this week, they loved that the meat came in an edible to-go bowl- the pepper! The slaw to accompany the peppers were received well by all despite some hesitation at first since some had never had cabbage before, but in the end they even suggested veggies they have at home that could be added to the recipes.
