Sacred Heart students Bryanna Lester, Lyric Samuels, Tanasha Lopez, Angel Daniels and new junior chef, Deanna Fooks-Benbow came into class full of enthusiasm and were even more excited to learn that we would be preparing glazed salmon with broccoli and carrots this week.

Deanna said that the meal was "amazing" and that the salmon was "perfectly seasoned".  Angel enjoyed the same marinade we had used for the salmon with chicken thigh meat, demonstrating how adaptable the recipe is for those with seafood allergies. Tanasha, who was tasting both salmon and carrots for the first time, declared that the meal was "on point!"
