Rutgers University-Camden will confer 1,523 undergraduate and graduate degrees during three ceremonies Thursday at the Susquenhanna Bank Center in Camden.
At 9 a.m., Dr. Thomas Cellucci of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will address 233 undergraduate and 90 master's of business administration students from the School of Business.
The 244 law school graduates will hear from Scott Turow, author of legal-themed best-sellers such as Presumed Innocence, at 1 p.m.
Ceremonies conclude in the evening with the graduation of 789 undergraduates and 167 graduates in the College of Arts and Sciences, University College and Graduate School. Their speaker will be Margaret Marsh, executive dean of the Rutgers-Camden Faculty of Arts and Sciences, who will retire July 1 after a 13-year tenure.
