Anthony Lee rushed to hospital
NEW YORK – Temple forward Anthony Lee was rushed to a Brooklyn area hospital for concussion-like symptoms after Friday's 79-74 Atlantic Ten tournament setback to Massachusetts here at the Barclays Center, according to multiple sources.
The 6-foot-9 redshirt sophomore experienced dizziness and nausea after suffering a blow to the head in the first half of the contest. One source said the Maryland native did not inform Temple's coaching staff of his symptoms because he wanted to stay in the game. However, Lee was hunched over in a wheelchair, completely despondent when he headed to an awaiting ambulance with Temple's medical staff around 12:30 a.m., an hour after the game.
He was released from the hospital later in the morning.
Lee struggled against the Minutemen. He made just 1 of 4 shots to finish with two points and two rebounds in 16 minutes.
