Happ to throw three innings Thursday; Rollins return might be delayed
A couple of minor medical updates, including some good news on lefthander J.A. Happ.
Happ, who has been on the disabled list since April 16 with a forearm strain, is scheduled to throw three innings in an extended spring training game on Thursday. The outing is not an official rehab start, although general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said that if all goes well, Happ could begin his official rehab progression next week.
Happ threw on Sunday in Clearwater and reported no ill effects.

Jimmy Rollins might take a little while longer to return than Sunday, when he is eligible to be activated from the disabled list with a calf strain. Amaro said Rollins might need a few extra days to complete his recovery from the injury.
Rollins is currently jogging in Clearwater. He faced Happ in live batting practice on Sunday.
