Sosa and Wall St.: Greedy, arrogant liars

Just wanted to pass along this ESPN.com Howard Bryant column, in case you hadn't seen it. It was one of the sharper takes on the steroid era I've read. He compares Sammy Sosa and other superstar users to Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and the fatcats who ruined Wall Street.

What connects them? Arrogance, greed and dishonesty, all at our expense. Good for Michael Schmidt at the Times for solid reporting. His hard work further debunked the cheating that has shaken public trust in baseball. This isn't about the so-called sacredness of the record book or Hall of Fame.  This is about lying to you and me in the pursuit of money and power.
