Victorino leads off, Polanco returns

The lineups are in and there are changes for both teams for Game 2 of the National League division series.

For the Phillies, third baseman Placido Polanco returns to the lineup after missing Game 1 with back spasms. Polanco's addition means Jimmy Rollins is slotted down in the order, batting sixth.

1. Shane Victorino CF
2. Placido Polanco 3B
3. Chase Utley 2B
4. Ryan Howard 1B
5. Jayson Werth RF
6. Jimmy Rollins SS
7. Raul Ibanez LF
8. Carlos Ruiz C
9. Roy Oswalt P

Rollins is ahead of Raul Ibanez likely for this reason alone: In his career, he is 4 for 12 against Reds starter Bronson Arroyo with one home run and two RBIs. Charlie Manuel typically relies on batters' history vs. pitchers in his lineup construction, no matter the sample size.

Cincinnati swapped out their catcher and left fielder. Laynce Nix replaces Jonny Gomes because of his numbers against Oswalt. In 17 career at-bats, he has nine hits (six of them for extra bases). Ryan Hanigan will catch -- he usually does every time Arroyo starts.

1. Brandon Phillips 2B
2. Orlando Cabrera SS
3. Joey Votto 1B
4. Scott Rolen 3B
5. Laynce Nix LF
6. Jay Bruce RF
7. Drew Stubbs CF
8. Ryan Hanigan C
9. Bronson Arroyo P
