Dilworth Park at Philadelphia's City Hall apparently has become the place to be.

In December, the plaza, marking its third winter season, saw record-breaking crowds with an average of 36,000 daily and 37,500 weekend visitors taking advantage of the Rothman Institute Ice Rink,  Rothman Cabin, the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market and, of course, the City's Christmas tree, the Center City District said.

New attractions this season included the  America's Garden Capital Maze, which had about 6,000 weekend visitors, the Christmas tree and an expanded Cabin area.

About, 47,000 skaters took advantage of the rink, which exceeded last year's attendance. And, there are still about six weeks left before it closes.

Many of the attractions will be open until Feb. 26.
