Several lottery players in southeastern Pennsylvania got early holiday gifts with wins in recent Millionaire Raffle and Powerball drawings.
Tickets sold in Bucks and Chester counties were among the winners in the Pennsylvania Lottery's most recent New Year's Millionaire Raffle early bird bonus drawing. Three ticketholders from each early bird drawing win $50,000 each.
The winning numbers were 00237019, 00249646 and 00259501, lottery officials said.
The lucky tickets were sold at the Village Mart located at 9079 Millcreek Road in Levittown and the Sunoco at 904 Route 113 in Chester Springs. A Beaver County retailer sold the third winner.
And a Powerball player from Lehigh County won $250,000 in Wednesday's drawing.
The ticket matched four of the five white balls (25, 33, 40, 54 and 68) and the Powerball of 3. It was purchased with the power play option, boosting its value to $250,000.
The ticket was sold at the Quick Stop Mini Mart at 1917 Walbert Ave. in Allentown, the lottery said.
No one won the $40 million jackpot, so the top prize for Saturday's Powerball game rises to $50 million for the annuity, or $29.7 million for the cash option.
