Police on Friday identified two men who were shot and killed in a North Philadelphia home Wednesday night as Josephus Butler, 41, and Norman Brown, 45.

Both victims lived in the home on the 2000 block of Turner Street, where the shooting occurred, police said.

About 9:49 p.m. Wednesday, officers found the two men inside the home. Both had been shot several times, police said. Butler was found lying inside the front door; he was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital shortly afterward. Brown was found lying in the kitchen; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrest has been made and the investigation is continuing.
