Former 76ers president and general manager Sam Hinkie, who revealed on Twitter that he had moved to Palo Alto, Calif., and would be teaching at Stanford University, declined to speak on the record Wednesday afternoon about his tenure with the team or his future.
Reached by phone, Hinkie would not elaborate on the 10 tweets he had posted earlier in the day to update his 10,000-plus followers on his life since leaving the Sixers. He had resigned in early April after three years as the franchise's president and GM.

Kristin Harlan, director of global communication for the Stanford Graduate School of Business, said in an email that Hinkie "will be a guest speaker in one or more class sessions in our sports management courses. ... This furthers the GSB priority of including dozens of guest speakers each year who provide real-world perspective into management issues."
