The 76ers announced Saturday they've agreed with Sevyn Streeter on a date for the recording artist to perform the national anthem after they didn't allow her do for wearing a "We Matter" jersey on Oct. 26, 2016.

Streeter will now perform the anthem on Dec. 16, 2016 when the Sixers host the Los Angeles Lakers at Wells Fargo Center.  She will wear her "We Matter" jersey.

"After thoughtful conversation, the 76ers and Sevyn Streeter have worked together to develop a play we hope will bring meaningful action the Philadelphia community," Streeter and the Sixers said in the joint release.

The release added that Streeter will join the Sixers in their ongoing efforts in the Philly community by partnering with the Boys and Girls Clubs. The team will also make a donation to the clubs.
