Maybe your inner artist is a little shy, which is why these classes are perfect — you can build your confidence with a little liquid courage. Grab a bottle and some pals and find your Picasso.

Art in the Pod (216 Bustleton Pike, Churchville): Walk away with a completed 16x20 canvas. All materials are provided including non-alcoholic beverages for non-drinkers and those under 21. BYOB classes are open to painters 12 and up with an adult and 18 and up without. Classes will see the entire group creating works inspired by famous artists.

Canvas Mixers (542 Haddon Ave., Collingswood): Leave the kids at home and either book a private party or hop in a three-hour instructor-led canvas-painting class.

The Clay Studio (137-139 N. 2nd St.): On Fridays, the studio throws "Date Nights," though, the projects — based in clay, naturally — are open to singles and groups alike. Everything — beer and food, too — is included. These sell out quickly, so sign up way ahead of time.

Color Me Mine (910 Haddonfield-Berlin Rd., Voorhees): Bring your gals, bridal party or buds for private parties or hop in an adults-only class, typically held on Fridays and Saturdays.

Colors and Bottles (Various locations): From Prime Stache to Tir Na Nog, bars throughout Philly welcome painters for drinks and a 16x20 canvas creation.

The Expressive Hand (622 S. 9th St.): The third Thursday of the month is reserved for BYOB ceramic painting with 15 percent off if you beautify a cup, mug or other beverage-related item. Free snacks, too.

Paint a Treasure (614 Station Ave., Haddon Heights): Open late Friday and Saturday nights for BYOB painting. Additionally, frequent "Canvas and Cocktails" nights are held either in-house or at local restaurants and feature dinner along with your painting.

Paint Nite (Various locations): Held at different local bars almost every night of the week, various artists host these two-hour parties. All materials are provided, including the booze (since you're at a bar and all…).

Painting with a Twist (629 E. Passyunk Ave.): Classes are offered in either two- or three-hour paintings, so pack your beverages and snacks accordingly. Instructors will lead you in re-creating a sunset by van Gogh or your own rendition of the Ben Franklin Bridge, among many others. Available to book for private parties. Cups are provided. Must be 18 to paint, 21 to drink.

Philly Art Center – Queen Village (514 Bainbridge St.): Every second Thursday, put pen to paper for figure drawing during a three-hour BYOB class.

Phoenixville's BYOB and Paint (237 Bridge St., Phoenixville): Adults-only classes led by the studio's resident instructor. Snacks are more than encouraged. Fridge, glasses and bottle openers also available.

Pinot's Palette (100 Ridge Rd., Chadds Ford): Bring your bottle, they'll supply the glasses, ice and art supplies. Book a party or hop into one of the two-hour open classes, open to 18-and-older painters (or ages 13-17 with an adult).

The Uncorked Artist (1414 Old York Rd., Warminster and 115 S. Main St., North Wales): With two locations, you'll have double the options for classes, typically held every day. They even hold a few all-ages classes as well as book private parties.
