Geraldine Ferraro joins Blank Rome law firm

Former Democratic vice presidential candidate Geraldine A. Ferraro has joined Blank Rome L.L.C.'s New York office as a principal in the law firm's government relations affiliate, the Philadelphia firm said today.

Former Democratic vice presidential candidate Geraldine A. Ferraro has joined Blank Rome L.L.C.'s New York office as a principal in the law firm's government relations affiliate, the Philadelphia firm said today.

Carl M. Buchholz, Blank Rome's managing partner and chief executive officer, said Blank Rome was committed to providing bipartisan teams to its clients. Blank Rome Government Relations L.L.C. has 28 lawyers, lobbyists and other professionals.

Ferraro was previously managing director of Global Consulting Group, an international investor relations, corporate communications and public affairs consultancy.

Ferraro had served three terms in Congress from New York City before being tapped as Walter Mondale's running mate in 1984.
