A state representative on Tuesday urged the executive director of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to study the ongoing problem of parents leaving their children in the parking lot of the Parx Casino while they gambled inside.

The Bensalem casino has had 10 incidents since February 2010 of adults leaving their children in the parking lot. The latest involved a 29-year-old Huntingdon Valley man who left his 6-year old daughter in his vehicle in baking temperatures last Saturday.

State Rep. Paul Clymer (R., Bucks), whose district includes Parx, addressed his letter to gaming board executive director Kevin O'Toole. - Suzette Parmley
