Target will begin hiring approximately 75 positions for its newest Philadelphia small-format store, located at 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., on Saturday in preparation for a fall debut.

The store, located in the Art Museum/Fairmount section, is expected to open on Oct. 18. This new store will be Target's fourth small-format location in the city, following the Washington Square West, Rittenhouse Square, and Roxborough openings.

"This new Target store located in a vibrant and creative community, steps away from the Barnes Foundation and Rodin Museum, will offer our guests a quick-trip to grab the necessities for every day," said Nora Kelly, store team leader, in a statement.

The company said store leaders will conduct prescheduled interviews with applicants and discuss Target's culture. Interested candidates should visit to apply in advance. They can also apply in-person at Saturday's job fair.
