The Block. A floor-to-ceiling photo show depicting multicultural life in the evolving neighborhood of South Kensington that surrounds the exhibit space. With pictures by Hank Willis Thomas, Wyatt Gallery, Lisa Fairstein, Hiroyuki Ito, Will Steacy, and local shutterbugs. At the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center at the Crane Arts Building, through Nov. 26.

"No Direction Home: Bob Dylan." Tenth anniversary edition of Martin Scorsese's 31/2-hour Dylan doc, charting the rapid rise of the Nobel Prize winner from 1961 until his 1966 motorcycle accident. Out on Blu-ray and DVD.

Kyle Craft, "Before the Wall." "If the wall it goes up and the country comes down / And it's too tall to get in, too late to get out / And the beaches have barbed wire across every shore / Would you lay down your gun, then you don't need it no more?" Glam-rock songwriter Craft closed with this Dylanesque protest song when he opened for Drive-By Truckers at Union Transfer this week. Released as a single, not included on Craft's promising Dolls of Highland debut.

Latin Roots Live! Double bill with Portland, Ore., mariachi singer Edna Vazquez and Peruvian indie-folk duo Alejandro y María Laura. Free with RSVP. Thursday at World Cafe Live upstairs.
