Weiland dead of drugs

Scott Weiland, 48, died from an accidental drug overdose, a medical examiner's office in Minnesota has ruled. Weiland died after taking a toxic mix of cocaine, alcohol, and the amphetamine MDA.

The former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver singer was found dead Dec. 3 on his tour bus in a suburb of Minneapolis.

The Kardashian report

Khloé Kardashian, 31, made a valiant bid to break the Web Friday, posting a series of artistic nude shots depicting her shapely personhood by photographer Mike Rosenthal. One, which displays her derriere in its essential bareness, is the toast of the blogosphere.

Alas, Khloé ruined the moment with her musings: "Even though I've worked really hard on my mind and body to get to this point, I am still shocked I had the courage to do this shoot."
