For the fourth time in five years, Southern California gets to play close to home after quarterback John David Booty, tight end Fred Davis and a great defense led the Trojans to the Pac-10 title. That "D," especially its great linebackers, will be charged with containing Illinois QB Juice Williams, running back Rashard Mendenhall and the Illini's explosive spread offense.

Georges Pretre conducts the orchestra in the ever-popular Strauss waltzes. Vienna State Opera Ballet dancers and the famous Lippizaner horses move to the music. Walter Cronkite returns as host.

(8:30 p.m.-12:15 a.m., Fox29) - Tenth-ranked Hawaii takes its undefeated record and ultra-powered passing game to New Orleans to battle No. 5 Georgia. At 12-0, the Warriors are major college football's only unbeaten team, and they got there on the strength of quarterback Colt Brennan's right arm. He has 38 touchdown passes and more than 4,000 passing yards. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, should give Hawaii's defense all it can handle with the running of Knowshon Moreno.
