Adora, 11, wants to be an artist - or lawyer

Adora is very artistic, and creates amazing freehand works of art, so it is not surprising that she is considering a career as an artist when she grows up.

Adora is very artistic, and creates amazing freehand works of art, so it is not surprising that she is considering a career as an artist when she grows up.

However, she is also thinking about becoming a lawyer so she can help children in foster care.

It's not a decision she has to make right away since she is only 11.

A little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and is quite delightful. She gets along very well with adults and revels in being the center of attention. In her spare time, Adora enjoys watching tennis and basketball on television. Her favorite athletes are Serena Williams and Michael Jordan.

If Adora could have three wishes, they would be to spend her birthday in New York City, to visit an art museum, and to have a computer or tablet for her drawings.

Enrolled in fifth grade, Adora benefits from special-education services. She is very proud of being named Student of the Week. Art is her favorite class, and she also enjoys being a member of the school choir.

Adora would thrive in a home with a mom and a dad who would be patient, loving, and supportive.

Adora and other children are available for adoption. For information, contact Paige Roller at the National Adoption Center.
