TV picks: 'Mozart in the Jungle,' a new 'Sherlock' and more

The "Late Show's" Stephen Colbert hosts the 38th annual celebration, which this year honors songwriter Carole King, filmmaker George Lucas, actresses Rita Moreno, and Cicely Tyson, and conductor Seiji Ozawa.

Season 2 of this delicious classical-music dramedy finds Rodrigo (Gael Garcia Bernal, "Rosewater") trying to whip the orchestra into shape in hopes of impressing his former mentor, even as contract talks threaten to stop the music. Meanwhile, Hailey (Lola Kirke) tries to navigate the transition from maestro's assistant to orchestra member - and to figure out whether there's anything between her and Rodrigo.

Food writer Michael Pollan travels the world - with stops in Tanzania, California and France - in search of healthy food.

Happy New Year! PBS rings in 2016 with "The Abominable Bride," a new 90-minute special episode of the "Masterpiece" series starring Benedict Cumberbatch as a present-day Sherlock Holmes. This time, though, he and Watson (Martin Freeman) are in 1890s London. For the first time,

we'll be seeing "Sherlock" the same day they are in Britain.
