TV picks: More time travel with 'Making History' and 'Time After Time,' 'Underground' returns and more

Making History. One of two time-travel shows premiering Sunday, this comedy stars Adam Pally (Happy Endings) as a 21st-century man who's dating Paul Revere's daughter (Leighton Meester, Gossip Girl). Yassir Lester plays a history professor brought in to help after the romance accidentally cancels the American Revolution, and Wilmington's Neil Casey is Founding Father Sam Adams. Every bit as silly as it sounds, but fun. 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Fox.

Time and Again. Two-hour season premiere introduces Freddie Stroma (UnReal) as H.G. Wells, who's chasing Jack the Ripper (Josh Bowman, Revenge) from the 19th century to ours. Adapted by Kevin Williamson (The Following) from the book and 1979 movie. 9 p.m. Sunday, ABC.

The Arrangement. This show about a struggling actress (Christine Evangelista) who enters into a $10 million arranged marriage with a movie star (Josh Henderson) can't possibly be about the former TomKat because Evangelista's character was never on Dawson's Creek. So don't even think about it. 10 p.m. Sunday, E! Entertainment.

Amy Schumer: The Leather Special. The Emmy and Peabody Award-winning star of Inside Amy Schumer performs before an audience in Denver in a special she directed. Tuesday, Netflix.

Underground. The second-season premiere of the runaway-slave drama features an original song, "In America," from Penn grad (and executive producer) John Legend, and we get our first good look at Underground Railroad conductor Harriet Tubman (Aisha Hinds). Whatever you do, don't miss the last 30 seconds. 10 p.m. Wednesday, WGN America.
