Kevin Hart will be back in North Philadelphia next week to celebrate Philadelphia's 'Kevin Hart Day,' complete with a public birthday party and mural dedication, at Hart's favorite cheesesteak spot, Max's Steaks.

Taking place Thursday, July 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Max's, the party and mural dedication will also mark the comedian's 38th birthday. Philly rappers Chill Moody and Freeway will perform.

Councilman David Oh, who introduced a measure in City Council to establish July 6 as Kevin Hart Day earlier this year, will lead the celebration, along with State Senator Sharif Street. Mural Arts Philadelphia, meanwhile, will dedicate the new mural — a portrait of Hart — to the comedian. It is located on the side of Max's Steaks, located just a block from 15th and Erie, where Hart was raised.

Mayor Jim Kenney, City Council President Darrel Clarke, councilwoman Cindy Bass, Mural Arts director Jane Golden, and others will also be present at the ceremony.

Attendees can look forward to music, games, arts and crafts, and food. The event is free to attend.

Kevin Hart Day, Oh said earlier this year, is designed as a "simple way to show [Hart] gratitude" for being a "fantastic ambassador for the City of Philadelphia."

"Whether through his hilarious sense of humor or through his heartfelt generosity towards his hometown," Oh said in a statement at the time, "Kevin Hart knows how to bring a smile to everyone in Philadelphia."

Following the announcement of the holiday, Hart addressed fans on Instagram, saying that he was "blown away" by the honor.

"Philadelphia we will be celebrating by b day on Kevin Hart Day…How dope is that," Hart wrote. "The summers will never be the same damn it!!!!! Kevin Hart Day is about to be in full effect."
