Pharrell Williams visits ‘The Simpsons’ on Sunday

The ‘Happy’ singer (and his hat) have business in Springfield

Time to get "Happy", Springfield. Pharrell Williams is coming to town. In Sunday's episode of The Simpsons (8 p.m. on Fox29), it turns out there's a little problem with the anthem he sold to the town. Catchy, sure. But he may have peddled the same tune to numerous other municipalities.

The misunderstanding leads to a classic musical bit on the show (see video below) as Bart, Lisa and their friends come up a new anthem for the town, which on first blush is not exactly positive. Or even particularly ambivalent. But there's not much to brag about.

So Lisa and Bart do the best they can, with proud lyrics like "Small pox free for seven years!"

This is better than Glee.
