Kristen N. Green
of Pennsauken graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in business and economics from Lehigh University on May 19. Kristen was valedictorian of the 2004 graduating class at Camden Catholic High School. She was recently inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international business honor society. She has accepted a position as a research analyst at Synovate, a global marketing research firm in New York City.
, a senior at Cherry Hill High School West, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Washick belongs to Boy Scout Troop 70. For his Eagle project, he designed and constructed a labyrinth on the grounds of St. Peter Celestine Church, Cherry Hill.
Willfully Yours: The South Jersey Shakespearean Players, a group of local high school freshmen performed a medley of scenes May 23 at Shakesperience: NJ, an annual statewide festival for fifth graders through seniors at Rider University. The local group draws from Cherry Hill High Schools East and West and Haddonfield Memorial High School. Most of the members performed at the festival last year as Rosa International Middle School students. This year, they formed a club, led by
, their English teacher at Rosa, in Cherry Hill. They began meeting in August, practicing and writing scripts to prepare for the festival, where they performed scenes from

Three local residents were among four Moorestown Friends School students to win gold medal placements for their performance on the National Spanish Examinations, taken nationwide this year by 110,000 students: junior

, Haddonfield. Also earning the gold, awarded to students scoring at or above the 95th percentile, was eighth grader
, Mount Laurel. The exams are given to students in grades six through 12. The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese sponsor them.
