The annual Running of the Santas is back. All proceeds will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand, a local foundation dedicated to easing the plight of children with cancer. The event, sponsored by Coors Light, takes place in three stages: The Breakfast Club for Early Risers begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at Shady Katie's, 814 S. White Horse Pike, Somerdale; an indoor/outdoor party for all Santas at 3 p.m. at Finnigan's Wake, 547 N. Holiday cheer

Pennypacker Mills celebrates the holidays with a Victorian Christmas Open House. The event features Santa, a bell choir, clear-toy candy demonstrations, and a vintage exhibit of Gov. West Philly Art Rising is holding a benefit for Hurricane Relief/Haitian Outreach. The show's called

The Holiday Party for the Animals benefit for the Humane League of Philadelphia will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. A keynote talk is scheduled by Bruce Friedrich, vice president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
