At, a student posted this comment in March about Upper Dublin High School teacher Cheryl Bremble: "Acts like a teenager."

That's the problem, police say, and the reason why Bremble, a 40-year-old special-education teacher, is now facing child-endangerment charges for allegedly "sexting" one of her female students and repeatedly urging the juvenile to use a sex toy that Bremble gave her on school property.

Bremble, of Hatboro, Montgomery County, was arrested yesterday on charges of having sexually explicit conversations with the student, both in person and via text messages, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman.

The student had developed a "special bond" with Bremble, who took the girl on shopping trips and bought her expensive clothes, authorities said. Then, they say, it turned illegal.

"Bremble gave the juvenile victim a sex device on school property, during school hours. Bremble encouraged the juvenile to use the device on numerous occasions during text-message conversations," Ferman said in a statement.

Michael Pladus, the school district's superintendent, declined to comment in detail on the investigation, but said that Bremble has been suspended pending the outcome of the case.

"Any allegation of improper communication or solicitation involving a member of our faculty or staff with a student will absolutely not be tolerated under any circumstances," he said.

Bremble could not be reached for comment.
