The 3-year-old girl was the only victim.

Police said that the girl, who was shot in the neck, was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and treated. She was listed in critical but stable condition yesterday. Munson III and Morgan were both charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and other offenses, police said.

NOT FIRECRACKERS

Police said that a man thought he heard firecrackers early Sunday at an East Germantown intersection, but they turned out to be gunshots - and he was the victim.

The 20-year-old male, whom police did not identify, was standing near Belfield Avenue and Walnut Lane about 1:45 a.m. when he heard the noises.

He said that he felt pain in his right shoulder, and told police that he didn't see a shooter as he fled.

He was shot twice, causing injuries to the right side of his forehead, cheek, and shoulder, and was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center. No arrests have been made.
