A 77-year-old man was hospitalized Tuesday night after being stabbed in the abdomen at a red light by a man who pulled him from a limousine and attacked him about 6:20 p.m., police said.

The victim told police that the man, wearing a black mask, pulled him from the vehicle and that the two argued before the attacker stabbed him, police said. The victim got back in the limousine and drove himself to Aria Healths Frankford hospital, police said.

The man was listed in stable condition as of 7:45 p.m., said Officer Jillian Russell, a police spokeswoman. A solid description of the suspect was not immediately available.

2 Armed man shot by police in N. Philly

Police say an armed man spotted on the street early Tuesday near Temple University Hospital began shooting at them, before they, in turn, shot him. Police said they got a call that a man, later identified as Raymond Brown, was armed and in the vicinity of Russell Street and Old York Road about 2:30 a.m. When officer arrived, Brown, 28, of North Philadelphia, began shooting at them, police said, prompting an officer to return fire. Brown was shot in his right thigh and collapsed several blocks away, police said.

He was listed in critical but stable condition at Temple University Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, police said. Brown was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and weapons violations.

3 Cops: Road rage led to stabbing

Roosevelt Boulevard near Strahle Street

A 39-year-old man was stabbed repeatedly in Northeast Philly's Rhawnhurst section early Tuesday night, cops said.

Police said the man told them he was driving his car and got into a road-rage incident with another driver about 6:30 p.m. The other driver, the victim told police, stabbed him three times in the back, once in the neck, once in the left arm and once in the left hand.

Investigators were unable to locate evidence marking a scene on the Boulevard where the man told them he had been attacked and were trying to determine later Tuesday whether his story checked out.

The attacker was described as a 170-pound Hispanic man, about 5 feet 8 and with a mustache. He reportedly was wearing a black sweat suit, but police did not have a description of his vehicle.

The victim drove himself to nearby Nazareth Hospital and was initially listed in critical condition, but later was upgraded to stable after being transferred to Temple University Hospital.

4 Teen arrested in fatal Logan shooting

11th Street near Wyoming

William Chapman, 19, of North Philadelphia, was arrested Friday in connection with a mid-April shooting homicide in Logan.

Chapman, of 12th Street near Courtland, allegedly shot Khalil Stanley, 18, on April 14 on 11th Street near Wyoming Avenue.

When police arrived, they found Stanley lying on the pavement with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. He later died at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Chapman is being held without bail in the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 23, according to court documents.

A 50-year-old man was hospitalized and undergoing surgery Tuesday night after cops say his brother stabbed him once in the neck and once under each arm inside a house in West Philly. The victim was in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His brother, treated for minor injuries, was being held as a prisoner there, authorities said. n
