The bulk is headed to 20th and Olney.

The La Salle basketball program has signed two players to its program. Vernon Goodridge, a 6-9, 230-pound center/forward who coach John Giannini said is a "Ben Wallace-type player," is transferring to La Salle after two seasons at Mississippi State.

Also, Jameson Keefe, who at 7-3 and 290 pounds will be the biggest player ever to wear the Explorer colors, also has committed.

Keefe, out of Troy (N.Y.) High, will redshirt this season, while Goodridge, who prepped at Philadelphia's Lutheran Christian Academy, will sit out the mandatory 1 year after transferring.

"We're very happy with the addition of these two fine young men," said Giannini, who will enter his fourth season at the helm for La Salle.

Also, Brian Grimes, a Germantown Academy product who played 1 year with the Explorers, has decided to transfer. Sources said Grimes is expected to transfer to Penn or Columbia. *
