HERSHEY, Pa. - The Phantoms broke a three-game losing streak last night, stopping the Hershey Bears, 3-2, in the American Hockey League.
The Phantoms received goals from three different players, jumping out to a 3-0 lead, then holding on for the win at the Giant Center.
Brian Boucher earned the win with 18 saves.
The Phantoms' first goal came on the power play 8 minutes, 43 seconds into the game. Kyle Greentree fed Stefan Ruzicka on the left post, and Ruzicka knocked it past Frederic Cassivi for the 1-0 lead.
Pete Zingoni beat Cassivi for a 2-0 first-period lead.
Just 82 seconds into the second period, Boyd Kane tapped in a rebound of a Jared Ross slapshot for a three-goal lead.
