Oregon football coach Mike Bellotti, who was visited last week by representatives of UCLA looking to fill the school's vacant head coaching job, has asked to be dropped from consideration.
In a statement on Oregon's Web site, Bellotti announced that he would continue as the Ducks' coach.
Temple coach Al Golden is believed to still be in the running, along with Baltimore Ravens assistant Rick Neuheisel and Bruins interim coach DeWayne Walker. Walker was defensive coordinator under recently fired coach Karl Dorrell.
Golden and Neuheisel reportedly were interviewed twice for the position.
