Low was sharp from the perimeter, hitting five three-pointers. His 16 first-half points helped the Cougars twice build 16-point leads.

Weaver's turn came in the second half, when he scored seven of Washington State's first 13 points. His trey at 16 minutes, 3 seconds put the Cougars up by 47-23.

Miami 95, North Carolina A&T 64 -

Jack McClinton, who missed the game's first 2:44 after leaving his jersey in the dressing room, scored 17 points, and the No. 22 Hurricanes defeated the Aggies (5-7) in Coral Gables, Fla., to stretch their season-opening winning streak to 12 games.

Austin Ewing scored 14 points for North Carolina A&T.

Ishmael Smith nailed a hanging jumper with 0.6 seconds to play to cap a stunning comeback and help the Demon Deacons (8-3, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) beat the Hokies (6-5, 0-1) in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Smith finished with 18 points, the last a tough basket over Malcolm Delaney, as Wake Forest erased an eight-point deficit in the final 82 seconds.

McNeese State 63, Southern Mississippi 57 -

Jarvis Bradley scored 19 points and the Cowboys (6-5) snapped the 8-4 Golden Eagles' five-game winning streak with an upset in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Bradley hit a free throw to complete a three-point play with 1:31 left to break a 55-55 tie, and McNeese State hit five of six free throws to take the victory and snap a two-game losing streak.

Jeremy Wise scored 25 points for the Golden Eagles.

North Carolina State 85, Cincinnati 77 -

Brandon Costner scored 20 points to help the Wolfpack (7-3) extend their winning streak to three games with a victory against the Bearcats (4-7) in Raleigh, N.C.

Penn State 66, Colgate 48 -

Geary Claxton scored 14 points and Jamelle Cornley added 12 as the Nittany Lions (7-4) remained unbeaten at home with a victory against the Raiders (6-5) in State College, Pa.

Cornley added eight rebounds for Penn State.

Florida Atlantic 62, Monmouth 57 -

Carlos Monroe scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Owls (4-8) past the Hawks (2-9) in West Long Branch, N.J.

New Mexico 62, Weber State 32 -

J.R. Giddens got eight points in a game-opening 15-0 run, and the Lobos (11-2) won their fourth straight in a rout of the Wildcats (4-7) in Albuquerque, N.M. Weber State tied a University Arena record for fewest points scored.
