Jeff Tambellini scored the deciding goal in the fourth round of a shoot-out as the Bridgeport Sound Tigers beat the Phantoms, 2-1, in the AHL last night.

Goaltender Wade Dubielewicz, sent to Bridgeport from the New York Islanders earlier in the day on a conditioning assignment, made 29 regulation saves and four stops in the shoot-out at the Wachovia Spectrum.

The Phantoms are 27-13-1-1 and in first place in the AHL East.

Trevor Smith started the shoot-out scoring for Bridgeport in the third round, but Kyle Greentree answered.

Tambellini scored in the fourth round, and Dubielewicz clinched the win for the Sound Tigers by stopping David Laliberte in the fifth round.

The Phantoms will welcome the four-millionth fan in team history before tomorrow's 5:05 p.m. game at the Spectrum.

Afterward, the Phantoms will hold their annual Photo Night.
