With Thursday's NBA Draft approaching, a voice in the league familiar with predraft machinations suggests the Sixers might be giving serious consideration to Alexis Ajinca, a 20-year-old 7-footer who averaged a modest five points with Hyeres-Toulon in France.

Ajinca is among four players scheduled to visit the Sixers tomorrow. The others are Kansas forward Darrell Arthur, Drexel's Frank Elegar and Saint Joseph's Rob Ferguson, who will be in for a second visit.

Ajinca, who supposedly has gained 20 pounds from the 220 listed in the official media draft guide, has worked out for a dozen teams and was viewed in a multiteam session at Golden State.

The 6-9 Arthur averaged 12.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for the national champion Jayhawks. He declared for the draft after his sophomore season and some view him among the top power forward prospects in the draft.

The Sixers have the 16th selection in the first round.
