Whitney Boddie collected 13 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists for her first career triple-double, and No. 14 Auburn crushed Sam Houston State, 119-54, in Auburn, Ala.

KeKe Carrier added 19 points on 9-of-9 shooting, and DeWanna Bonner scored 18 points for the Tigers (9-0), who set a school record for points in a game.

Seven Auburn players scored in double figures.

Mary Beth Renz led the Bearkats (1-7) with 12 points.

Xavier 69, Akron 44 -

Ta'Shia Phillips had 14 points and 11 rebounds, and April Phillips contributed 12 points and 12 rebounds to lift No. 23 Xavier past Akron in Cincinnati.

Xavier earned its fifth consecutive victory overall and fifth straight over the Zips (2-5).

The Musketeers (7-2) built their lead by stopping Akron's perimeter shooters in the first half. The Zips made just 6 of 30 first-half shots and were held scoreless for nearly six minutes as Xavier surged to a 27-10 lead.
