The Kixx are still a win short of 250 in their 12-year history after dropping a 14-12 game to the Monterrey La RaZa last night at the Wachovia Spectrum in the National Indoor Soccer League.

In the fourth quarter, Monterrey rallied from a 10-8 deficit with a trio of two-point goals to go ahead by 14-10.

Peter Pappas took the loss for the Kixx (2-1) in the nets, saving nine of 15 shots by Monterrey (2-2).

Kixx forward Hewerton Moreira had his third straight hat trick, picking up a pair of two-point scores and a three-point goal. Ptah Meyers had a two-pointer, and John Barry Nusum contributed a three-pointer.
